The RHS Queen’s Green Canopy Garden

With less than a fortnight until the start of the official planting season in October, The RHS Queen’s Green Canopy Garden will be unveiled at the Chelsea Flower Show this Monday, 20th September.
QGC Ambassador Dame Judi Dench will officially open the garden and invite everyone to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee” ????
The countdown then begins to the start of the official planting season on 1st October.
Since their launch in May, The Queen’s Green Canopy has been planning a diverse range of impactful environmental activities. These include: 

???? The creation of a pilot training initiative for young unemployed people with an interest in horticulture, working in collaboration with Cavendish Group and Capel Manor College

???? An education programme to highlight the importance of trees and the significance of giving young people access to nature

????  An urban community planting programme with a focus on projects in places with socio-economic deprivation and low canopy cover
