Following the Together at Christmas Carol Service on 17th December,  the Lord Lieutenant, Sheriff Iona McDonald OBE presented the Lord Lieutenant’s Award to Cadet C/ Sgt Rory Austin of Inkerman Company, West Lowland Battalion, Army Cadet Force and confirmed his appointment as the Lord Lieutenant’s cadet.

His mum and dad were also present and were obviously very proud of his achievements.
