The Lord-Lieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran Sheriff Iona McDonald and the Provost of North Ayrshire, Cllr. Anthea Dickson jointly launched the Trindlemoss Day Opportunities centre earlier this week.

 Trindlemoss provides day opportunities for adults with learning difficulties and is an innovative community project (ICP) based on the innovative school projects (ISPs) model.  It includes

 

• Baristamoss – mobile barista  

• The Glam Hideaway – beauty room providing nail, hair and make-up treatments

 

Funding for these have been provided by NAHSCP and DYW Ayrshire.

Miko Coffee Scotland, East Kilbride have provided the barista training. Signage and branded workwear provided by LPC Design, Largs.

In addition to the Lord-Lieutenant and the Provost the event was attended by a number of dignitaries from DYW Ayrshire, Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce and SQA amongst others
