On Sunday 23rd November 2025 Brigadier (ret’d) Charlie Coull represented the Lord Lieutenant at the laying up of the Standard of the Ayr branch of the Royal Scots Fusiliers Association in the Auld Kirk of Ayr.

 

 This marked the final event for the Ayr Branch of the RSF Association which on that day dissolved to become the Royal Highland Fusiliers Veterans Association [Ayrshire] Branch. 

 

 Following that he attended the dedication of the headstone to Fusilier William Reid MM at Ayr Cemetery.
