The Lord Lieutenant joined the Provost and Depute Provost of South Ayrshire, local dignitaries and the community of Troon to welcome the 79th annual taxi outing to Troon. This event organised by the Glasgow Taxi Owners Association sees nearly 300 children having a fun filled day in the town.

The Lord Lieutenant said “ I must congratulate the organisers on another successful outing and express my sincere gratitude to the drivers, and all involved for giving up their time and hosting the Outing at their own expense. I would also like to thank the community of Troon for coming out to welcome the Outing and making everyone so welcome”
