1st West Kilbride Company Boys’ Brigade celebrate their Centenary.

Deputy Lieutenant Evelyn McCann attended the Annual Display and Prize Giving of the 1st West Kilbride Company Boys’ Brigade, which was held in the West Kilbride Parish Church on Friday 22 March 2019. The Annual Display was the final event in a very significant year for the Company.
Established in 1918, the West Kilbride Boys’ Brigade celebrated its Centenary throughout the 2018/2019 year. The Boys’ Brigade has a long tradition in West Kilbride and 1st West Kilbride continues to have a strong company, from the youngest Anchor Boys through the Junior Section to the Company Section. During the 100 years it has been in existence it has had in excess of 7600 enrolments.
The Annual Display and Prize Giving was the final event of the Centenary year. Those who received awards are pictured below with Deputy Lieutenant Evelyn McCann, Company Chaplain Rev James McVey and Company Captain Nichol Armstrong.
