The Lieutenancy was represented at a recent service in the Canongate Kirk, Edinburgh to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of Victory over Japan. Civic Dinner for Honours recipients
Vice Lord Lieutenant John Dalrymple Hamilton recently attended a Civic Dinner for recipients of Honours who were recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List. The dinner was held in the unique setting of Dean Castle, Kilmarnock and hosted by the Provost of East Ayrshire, Jim Todd. The guests included Sir James Mc Millan KBE, Ian Welsh MBE and Graham Short MBE
